US TV presenter Brooke Burke has been crowned the winner of the seventh Dancing With The Stars contest.

The 37-year-old and her dancing partner Derek Hough were presented with the ABC show's mirror ball trophy after waltzing their way to a perfect score on Tuesday's final. Burke, who took first place in eight episodes of the US version of Strictly Come Dancing, described her victory as "unbelievable".

The duo's Viennese waltz secured them first place over American football star Warren Sapp, who was partnered with Kym Johnson. Former 'NSync singer Lance Bass and his dancing partner Lacey Schwimmer came third.

Alicia Keys and Miley Cyrus made special appearances on the final, which also saw the return of a number of former contestants including Cloris Leachman, Cody Linley, Susan Lucci and Jeffrey Ross.

The other stars who took part in the seventh series were Kim Kardashian, Toni Braxton, Ted McGinley, Rocco DiSpirito, Maurice Green and Misty May-Treanor.
