Barton: 'We're not ready for OC remake'

Rumours that the show, which ran on Fox from 2003 until 2007, might be remade began circulating following the recent successful reincarnation of Beverly Hills, 90210.
Speaking to OK!, she said: "I'm not sure that anybody's ready for an OC remake. Maybe I would do it. I don't know."
Barton left the drama at the end of the third season after her character, Marissa Cooper, was killed in a dramatic car crash.
Discussing the possibility of reprising the role, she said: "It would be really hard to remake it.
"I don't think she can come back from the dead, but maybe there's another version of the show to be remade one day."
