'90210' star desperate for Luke Perry return

Grimes, who plays Annie Wilson in the CW remake, told reporters that she was "dying" to see Perry reprise the role of Dylan McKay.
Speaking at a press conference, she said: "[I want] Luke Perry [back]. I mean, come on! We've all been dying for it. I still am but I may have to give up the dream. I dunno, it may be at that point now. But, I'm a huge Dylan fan."
Perry starred in Beverly Hills, 90210 from 1990 until 2000. Some of his former castmates, including Tori Spelling (Donna Martin), Jennie Garth (Kelly Taylor) and Shannen Doherty (Brenda Walsh), have already appeared in the new series.
Executive producer Rebecca Rand Kirshner admitted that the show was "always open" to bringing back original characters, but added: "My real focus for next year is to make the next generation of kids have an opportunity to shine and become stars in their own right."
