Lori Loughlin has insisted that she wasn't fired from 90210.

Earlier this year, it emerged that Loughlin and Ryan Eggold will leave the show at the end of this season.

However, Loughlin denied rumours that she had been sacked and insisted that it is "the right time to move on".

"I think it is unfortunate that they would say that [I was fired]," she told xfinityTV. "The truth is, creatively it would be more challenging for [my character Debbie] to move on. The kids are going off to college. So they are going to focus more on that. But I had a great time. It's all good. I am not parting on bad terms."

Meanwhile, Loughlin told Fancast that she does not expect Debbie to be killed off.

"I don't think it is going to be anything dramatic," she said. "I have already gotten a phone call from [CW president] Dawn Ostroff and she said, 'Look, if you are not doing anything and you want to come back, we can work it out'. They want to kind of leave it open so I can do some episodes next year if my schedule allows."

90210 airs on Mondays at 8/7c on The CW in the US and on Tuesdays at 9pm on E4 in the UK.
