Duff will not star in 'Beverly Hills' spinoff

The singer/actress was rumoured to be taking the lead role on the upcoming CW show.
However, when asked about the possibility of an appearance, she said: “No, it’s not true.”
Sources claim the 20-year-old is looking to break out of teen roles in a bid to widen her appeal.
The network recently confirmed that Lori Loughlin has joined the cast, while Shenae Grimes will play Annie Mills, the role previously slated for Duff.
