Deschanel: 'Bones' may come to Spain

Bones star Emily Deschanel has revealed that the hit forensics show may film in Spain.

The Fox drama is currently shooting on location in London for the season four premiere. However Deschanel revealed that producers looked at switching to Spain due to the value of the US dollar against the pound.

She said: "We actually thought about Spain as a possibility because we weren't sure that London was going to work out with us being able to afford it."

The London episode marks the first time that Bones has ventured outside of Washington, something Deschanel hopes won't be a one-off.

She added: "We're hoping we can come and visit Spain. Maybe Spain will be the next on the list."
