The cast and crew spent three weeks in London and Oxford in June 2008, shooting a two-part special where Boreanaz's character Booth assisted Scotland Yard in solving the mystery of a body found floating on the River Thames.
He told Radio 1: "We were talking to the Sky people yesterday and I suggested that maybe we come over. They said, 'Yeah, sure you guys come over', so I asked, 'Will you guys fund it?'. And they said, 'Yeah sure we'll fund it'.
"So hopefully at the end of season sweeps or maybe a season finale we'll come over and shoot again. I'd love that."
The actor, who directed the show's season three episode 'The Bones That Foam', admitted that he'd also like to try his hands at helming Damages.
"It's a really good series because all the characters have stuff going on where you don't really know what's going to happen. I love that show a lot."
Stephen Fry recently returned to Bones as Dr Gordon Wyatt.
