Elsewhere, The Voice fell to a new season low of 10.7m (4.1) for NBC, but 10pm's Smash rose to 6.1m (2.2).
Dancing with the Stars anchored ABC's schedule with 16.5m (2.8) between 8pm and 10pm, after which 12.1m (2.2) watched Castle.
Over on CBS, NCAA basketball scored 19.3m (7.0) between 9.30pm and 11pm, prior to which a half-hour special preview show netted 13.2m (4.4) at 9pm.
Earlier in the 8pm hour, strong numbers for repeats of 2 Broke Girls (8.3m/2.5) and Two and a Half Men (8.5m/2.6) ensured a CBS primetime victory.
Gossip Girl continued with 1.1m (0.5) for The CW, then 730k (0.3) watched Hart of Dixie.
