Bones executive producer Stephen Nathan has signed a new deal with 20th Century Fox TV.
Variety reports that the two year deal includes an option for a third and will keep Nathan on the show alongside writer and show-runner Hart Hanson.
"Stephen is a fantastic writer who helps bring the heart and comedy that has set Bones apart from other procedurals on the air," said 20th Century Fox TV president Dana Walden. "This is such an important show for us and the network, and we couldn't be more pleased with what Hart and Stephen have accomplished creatively this year."
The crime drama is currently in summer reruns on Fox ahead of its third season premiere in the Fall.
