On the Fox sci-fi drama, Olivia dated Peter Bishop (Joshua Jackson) until the character was erased from time.
Discussing the Olivia / Lincoln relationship, Torv told The Insider: "They've started working together kind of closely and she seems quite happy about that!
"I don't know what [the writers] will end up doing, but it's kind of sweet if she's got a crush on this Lincoln, and the alt-Lincoln's got a crush on [the alternate] Olivia. It gets very kooky!"
Torv also hinted that Olivia and Peter's relationship will be strained following his reappearance.
"He's in this world where the people that he loves just look at him like he's a stranger," she explained. "I think that would be a tough place to be."
Fringe returns to Fox this Friday at 9/8c.
