Entertainment Weekly reports that the Twilight star will play Trent Stafford, a high school classmate of Daphne (Kay Panabaker).
After his house is robbed in a home invasion, Trent will turn to Daphne and her super-powered family for help.
Rathbone could recur throughout the show's first season. He last appeared on television in a 2009 episode of Criminal Minds.
No Ordinary Family premieres on September 28.
