The Mad Men star will play CIA consultant Malcolm Mitchell in the final two episodes of the show's first season.
"He plays a cryptographer that works for the CIA," Silverstein confirmed to IGN. "Percy (Xander Berkeley) is sending teams around, killing the top cryptographers of the world, because they are the only people who have the potential to break the encryption on his black box."
The producer also confirmed that Devon Sawa will reprise his role as Division agent Owen for a "pretty awesome" storyline.
"Nikita and Owen team up to go to London, where he said he was going to advance things on the ground," explained Silverstein. "He's located the Guardian, like him, in London.
"The Guardian... is played by Ray Park, so it will not be easy to take this person down. It leads to some of the best action scenes that we've produced yet on the show."
Nikita returns to The CW tonight at 9/8c.
