'Walking Dead' creator Robert Kirkman hits back at 'Sons of Anarchy' exec

By
Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman has responded to criticism over showrunner Glen Mazzara's exit from the AMC television series.

Sons of Anarchy showrunner Kurt Sutter slammed the network over its dismissal of Mazzara, claiming it is run by "small-minded, bottom-line thinkers".

However, Kirkman has now taken to Twitter to hit back at Sutter, insisting he has no right to comment on the situation as he "knows nothing" about it.

"Kurt Sutter is brilliant and Sons of Anarchy is my favourite show on TV. Still, it's upsetting to see him ranting about things he knows nothing about," the comic book scribe wrote.

Reports claim that Mazzara was axed from Walking Dead for producing a lack of material for the show, and clashing with Kirkman over creative differences.

The Walking Dead's third season resumes on February 10 on AMC. The series airs on FX UK - to be rebranded Fox from January 11 - in the UK.
