The 30-year-old Texas native was eliminated early in tonight's competition as Mr Trump further narrowed down the candidates as the competition neared the finale.
The episode began with Brandy, Liza and Clint reflecting on their success in making it to the final three after Steuart's departure. However, their relief was short-lived when they were all called back to the boardroom by Mr Trump for an additional elimination. They were then given an opportunity to state the reasons why they believed they should be chosen to continue in the competition, with each citing their strong educational background and experience as markers of their worthiness.
Mr Trump then fired Liza, explaining that while she was "outstanding in every way", her lack of interpersonal skills makes her undesirable as an employee of the Trump organisation. He then advised her to learn to get along better with people that she is working alongside.
"I really value Mr Trump's opinion and to hear that he didn't think I get along with people really hurt. It's hard to know that I got so close," she said after her elimination.
Following the announcement that they had become the final two candidates, Brandy and Clint toasted each other with champagne and praised one another's business savvy, wishing their opponent luck in the final leg of the competition and looking forward to the last challenge.
This week's task saw candidates meet at Trump National Golf Course in Westchester, New York and called for one contestant to put together a VIP golf tournament featuring comedian Kathy Griffin while the other would organise a dinner gala with Liza Minnelli. Brandy and Clint would be joined on the task by former contestants who would help the finalists in their bid to win.
Brandy chose to work with Liza, Stephanie and Anand to organise the golf tournament while Mahsa, Poppy and Steuart joined Clint on the Liza Minnelli dinner task.
Sitting down to discuss strategy, Clint immediately assigned Steuart the role of point man for food catering to be used at the dinner and gave him full run of the budget to ensure that the meal was successful. Clint later met with Liza Minnelli's manager to discuss her rider requirements and insisted that he planned to meet the demands without missing a single one.
Meanwhile, Brandy admitted to her group that she was unfamiliar with golf but said that she was happy to have Liza on her team as she is an avid player of the sport. She also toured the club in order to determine the lay of the land and help further her planning. The group then determined what gifts to offer the attendants of the tournament, eventually deciding upon gift certificates, which Brandy felt would be the "most appropriate".
Brandy's group later hit a snag when she discovered that Anand and Liza had gone against the plan of buying gift cards in favour of purchasing golf club sets as they seemed more "substantial" gifts. At the same time, Clint's team hit a roadblock when they received an e-mail that the catering for the dinner may not arrive in time. However, they went with another company and managed to swing it.
There are further snags later when the photographer hired by Anand and Liza for the golf tournament showed up at the wrong location and called to say that he was over a two-hour drive away from the actual course where the event would be taking place. Poppy and Mahsa also discovered that Clint's posters for the Liza Minnelli concert featured the singer's name spelt incorrectly, rendering the signage unusable.
The episode ended with Mahsa and Poppy panicking as they called Clint to tell him about the extensive mistakes made on the art.
