The X Factor USA continued on Thursday night with a second episode of auditions, this time bringing us the good and the bad from Miami and Dallas. Among the hopefuls was 27-year-old Xander Alexander who "blew his audition" by alienating the audience, and 18-year-old Melanie Amaro who wowed the judges with her rendition of 'Listen' by Beyoncé.
The X Factor, which was open to individuals and groups from the age of 12 upwards, will award its winner a record-breaking $5 million recording contract and the chance to appear in a Pepsi Super Bowl commercial.
The X Factor continues Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8/7c on Fox
