Following a grueling two day Boot Camp process, judges Simon Cowell, Nicole Scherzinger, Paula Abdul and LA Reid were tasked with slimming the 162 acts down until until only eight acts remained in each of four categories - Boys, Girls, Groups and Over 30s.
The Top 32 to move on to the Judges' Houses round of the programme were announced during Thursday night's X Factor USA broadcast, along with the category that each judge will mentor for the remainder of the season.
The Girls category - always one of the strongest on The X Factor UK - will consist of several favourites from earlier stages of the competition, including Catilin Koch, Simone Battle and Tora Woloshin. Also successful are teens Rachel Crow, Drew Ryniewicz and Jazzlyn Little. They will be joined by Melanie Amaro and Tiah Tolliver.
For the boys, Brennin Hunt, Brian Bradley, Skyelor Anderson, Nick Voss are the lucky acts to progress. Rounding out the category are Tim Cifers, Phillip Lomax, Marcus Canty and early favourite Chris Rene.
The Stereo Hoggz, 2Square, 4Shore, The Brewer Boys, Illusion Confusion and The Anser are successful for the Groups. Joining them will be two supergroups made up of otherwise eliminated contestants and put together in the final minutes by the judges.
Finally, the Over 30s hope to find luck with Elaine Gibbs, Tiger Budbill, Leroy Bell and James Kenney. Also continuing the dream are Josh Krajcik, Christa Collins, Dexter Haygood and Stacey Francis.
The X Factor USA continues next Wednesday at 8/7c on Fox.
