British singer Jessie J went on to reveal that Smith, the daughter of Will and Jada Smith, had written her a note and drawn her a picture before her X Factor performance to help ease her nerves.
"I don't think she realises how much those kind of things are so inspiring," she said. "She is so young and just going for her dreams. She said I inspire her and I was like, 'You just made me realise how much I want to enjoy this and how important it is to take every moment'.
"She's an amazing young person and I'd love to collaborate with her. I think we could whip our hair until the sun comes up!"
Jessie J also told the website that she felt honoured to be performing on The X Factor, adding: "It's always something you want to be a part of... I'm always in support of bringing new talent through."
