Despite the fact he's been busy lately - announcing his very own romantic cruise and trying to get funding for more episodes of Trapped in the Closet, for example - R Kelly found the time to drop in on the X Factor USA grand final, duetting with Melanie Amaro, Digital Spy readers' favourite for victory.
Alanis Morissette and Avril Lavigne also stopped by to duet with fellow hopefuls Josh Krajcik and Chris Rene respectively, as the trio battle one last time for the grand prize of a $5 million (£3.18 million) recording contract and a starring role in Pepsi's Super Bowl commercial.
