And so, the moment of truth is here. Three finalists, two nights... but only one winner. Melanie Amaro, Chris Rene and Josh Krajcik have triumphed over so many others to reach the first ever X Factor USA grand final. There's been tears, thrills and spills - and a lot of accounting to judges and mentors Paula Abdul, Simon Cowell, Nicole Scherzinger and LA Reid.
The three hopefuls took to the stage one last time in the hope of winning over the American public and were joined by a host of international stars including 50 Cent, Justin Bieber, Ne-Yo, Pitbull and Leona Lewis.
