Britney Spears dances to 'Ice Ice Baby' on 'X Factor' USA - video

Britney Spears showed off her dance moves during a recent X Factor USA audition in Greensboro, NC.

The X Factor judge is seen in a fan-shot video rising from her seat and dancing while a contestant is rapping a version of Vanilla Ice's 'Ice Ice Baby'.



The contestant's name and how he fared in the judges' evaluation aren't yet known, but he did receive a positive response from the crowd.

The video of Spears comes just days after fellow judge Simon Cowell said he was "fascinated" by the singer's shyness thus far on The X Factor.

"She's not on the show to be Britney Spears on a TV show," Cowell stressed. "She's actually there to prove to the world there's more to her, and she's got the ability to do this job really well. She's taken the role really seriously."

Spears and Cowell have been joined on The X Factor judging panel this year by LA Reid and Demi Lovato.

It was reported on Tuesday (July 10) that Khloe Kardashian has emerged as a frontrunner to host the Fox reality show's second season.

The X Factor USA premieres September 12 on Fox.
