The clip released to Entertainment Tonight sees Spears trying to retain her composure as a male contestant first presents her with flowers and then sings a high-pitched version of her hit 'Circus'.
Spears's admirer also showed off bizarre dance moves as judges Spears, Simon Cowell, Demi Lovato and LA Reid openly grimaced.
"That was one of the worst auditions we've had this year," Cowell said in his evaluation, adding: "It was like you had an argument with Britney Spears, got drunk and decided to scream the song at her."
The newly released footage also includes another contestant sparring with Lovato over her alleged use of autotune and a teenage contestant speaking about his Chihuahua called Paul Newman.
Earlier this week, it was announced that The Voice will compete directly against The X Factor next week by adding a third night on Wednesday, September 12 to its season premiere week.
Cowell openly spoke of his anger over NBC's scheduling decision, calling the Peacock Network "cynical, cold-hearted and unprofessional" for pitting the two shows against each other.
"These guys have really got it in for us. It's nothing short of dirty tricks," Cowell said of NBC.
"The reason they've done this is they don't want people to see X Factor because they've heard how good the series is. They don't want their audience to see Britney Spears. They don't want their audience to see Demi Lovato."
The X Factor USA kicks off its second season next Wednesday (September 12) at 8/7c on Fox.
