The 13-year-old, who is being mentored by Britney Spears, picked up 14.52% of the vote, just edging ahead of boyband Emblem3, who won 13.56% and siblings Sister C, who gained 13.51%.
They were followed by the Boot Camp-formed LYLAS, who will be renamed on tonight's show after it was discovered that a group comprised of Bruno Mars's four sisters also go under the moniker. The quintet received 9.37% of the vote.
CeCe Frey also gained a healthy share of votes, coming in with 9.22%, as did 18-year-old Jennel Garcia, with 7.05%.
Less popular were country singer Willie Jones, returnee Arin Ray and mother-of-one Paige Thomas, who picked up 4.75%, 4.70% and 4.65% respectively.
Also in the middle of the pack were teens Beatrice Miller (4.60%) and Diamond White (4.55%), as were LYRIC 145, with 3.11%.
However, the Over 25s struggled to pick up much support with Digital Spy readers, with all four languishing at the bottom of the poll. 40-year-old Vino Alan gained only 2.20% of the vote, with David Correy (1.67%) and Jason Brock (1.39%) proving even more unpopular. Tate Stevens gained the fewest votes of all 16 hopefuls, with only 1.19%.
The results suggest that a member of the LA Reid-mentored category may be in danger of leaving the competition on tomorrow night's show.
The X Factor USA live shows begin tonight (October 31) at 8/7c on Fox.
