'X Factor USA' gallery: Top 6 perform unplugged tracks

Things are getting tense on The X Factor USA with just six contestants remaining in the competition, so to prove they deserve to make it through to the next stage the hopefuls each performed twice on last night's show - showing off their skills with one unplugged song and one track chosen by viewers.

The songs included hits from Justin Bieber, Adele, James Brown, Garth Brooks, Rihanna and even X Factor USA judge Demi Lovato - but who'll survive the cut?

The results will be announced tonight (December 6) at 8/7c on Fox, but in the meantime check out the show in pictures by clicking through our gallery below:
