The Voice returns to our screens for its second season after the Super Bowl on Sunday, February 5, and to get us all in the mood, NBC has released a clip of one particularly emotional blind audition.
Single dad Jesse Campbell, 42, tells us that his wife left him and he ended up homeless and sleeping in his car with his young daughter, before his brother moved to town and helped him get on his feet. He now sings at churches and weddings and thinks that winning The Voice could be the "fresh start" that his family needs.
But, will the Illinois native impress mentors Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton, Adam Levine and Cee Lo Green enough in his blind audition to earn a spot in the next round?

The Voice returns immediately following the Super Bowl on Sunday, February 5 on NBC, before settling into its regular timeslot on a Monday night.
Lionel Richie, Miranda Lambert, Kelly Clarkson, Babyface, Alanis Morissette, Ne-Yo, Robin Thicke and Jewel will all make guest appearances on the show, serving as special advisors for the celebrity mentors.
Christina Milian, who joined the programme as the social media correspondent for its second season, recently promised that viewers will be "blown away" by the talent on show this year, saying: "Now that people know what The Voice is about... there are a lot of people taking risks and taking a chance."
Javier Colon was named the first-ever winner of The Voice last year, after he was mentored to victory by Maroon 5 frontman Levine.
