'The Voice' Gwen Sebastian: 'Blake Shelton really cares' - video

The Voice contestant Gwen Sebastian has said that she chose to join Blake Shelton's team because she thinks it's clear he really cares about his artists.

The singer picked Team Blake on Monday night's (February 6) episode of The Voice following her performance of Sugarland's 'Stay'.

Speaking to social media correspondent Christina Milian backstage, she said: "Blake seems like a really stand-up, cool guy. I watched the show last year and I saw how he interacted with the artists."

She added: "I think he really cares about you as an artist and a person and I think that's really important. If there is one thing I've learned about being in the music industry you don't forget where you come from or who is surrounding you or helping you along the way because you can't do it by yourself.

"To me, that's why I think I'll really gel with him. Obviously he's a wonderful singer and I know he will help me grow."
