Yarbrough revealed before her audition that she has been performing for four decades and hasn't given up her hopes of becoming a successful recording artist. She opted to join Adam Levine's team following her blind audition.

Speaking to social media correspondent Christina Milian about having two coaches turn around for her, she said: "It's crazy. When I saw them both they'd already turned around but I was into the crowd, into the audience.
"To be honest, I didn't want to look at them! I was too scared to look at them!"
Milian also pointed out that people might have expected Yarbrough to go with Aguilera, to which she said: "I had in my mind all this time if not Cee Lo definitely Christina... but when [Adam] said, 'I'll do anything I can to help you', I was like 'Oh, OK!'"
