Monday night's show saw the Top 8 take to the stage for performances which they hoped would garner enough votes to keep them in the competition.
In order to further narrow the competition, the remaining contestants were not only subject to the viewer vote on Tuesday night but were also scored by their respective coaches out of a possible 100 points. The singer with the lowest combined score from each team was sent home immediately.
Longtime favourite Jamar Rogers was one of the hopefuls to be eliminated, along with Katrina Parker, Erin Willett and Lindsey Pavao.
