The Voice has named its Top 4 contestants who will move on to the finals.

One singer each from Adam Levine's, Christina Aguilera's and Blake Shelton's and Cee Lo Green's teams left the NBC reality competition over the two-night live broadcast of the semi-finals. The singers continuing on to the finals are Juliet Simms, Jermaine Paul, Tony Lucca and Chris Mann.

Monday night's show saw the Top 8 take to the stage for performances which they hoped would garner enough votes to keep them in the competition.

In order to further narrow the competition, the remaining contestants were not only subject to the viewer vote on Tuesday night but were also scored by their respective coaches out of a possible 100 points. The singer with the lowest combined score from each team was sent home immediately.

Longtime favourite Jamar Rogers was one of the hopefuls to be eliminated, along with Katrina Parker, Erin Willett and Lindsey Pavao.

The Voice's season one finalists Javier Colon, Dia Frampton, Vicci Martinez and Beverly McLellan also appeared during the results show to sing their respective singles. Frampton was joined by Kid Cudi, while Martinez duetted with former coach Cee Lo Green and McLellan took to the stage with Cyndi Lauper.

Next Monday and Tuesday (May 7 and 8), the Top 4 will go head-to-head in the live finals on NBC, with one singer going on to become the winner of a record deal.
