The network recently signed new judges Usher and Shakira for the spring 2013 cycle, which all but confirmed at least one more run.
Entertainment Weekly reports that it was made official by NBC today, after the reality show had another good week in the ratings, winning Tuesday night for NBC in the 18-49 demographic.
The Voice ratings have been steadily climbing for this season, averaging 12m viewers per episode.
In a statement, NBC chairman Robert Greenblatt said: "This pick-up will assure the many dedicated Voice fans that this innovative show will continue to bring some of the most talented new voices to the world's attention through all of next year.
"With the addition of Usher and Shakira as rotating coaches to join Christina, Cee-Lo, Adam and Blake in the next cycle, we know that this incredibly addictive programme will remain even more relevant as we move forward through this exciting season."
Christina Aguilera and Cee-Lo Green will miss the following batch of episodes, but NBC have said that they may return again for the fall 2013 cycle, as part of a 'bigger pool' of mentors.
