The 'Your Body' singer promoted The Voice's upcoming semi-final on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where she joked that tensions often run high on the reality show's set.

"It's our third season in and us as coaches have hit our stride," Aguilera explained to Ellen DeGeneres. "We get what it's all about."
The star then quipped: "We're invested in our teams and I'm sitting next to [Blake Shelton] the whole time, so how can I not laugh?
"Between him and [Cee Lo Green], with his gas over there. Then there's [Adam Levine] over there, very competitive. That's why I have [my signature] fan, you know!"
Aguilera and Green will be taking a hiatus from The Voice for the spring 2013 cycle, to be replaced by Shakira and Usher.
The Voice begins its two-night semi-final on Monday at 8/7c on NBC.
