The HBO hit's second season is out now on DVD, with a third season set to premiere in the coming weeks in the US and UK.
Turner - who plays Sansa Stark - told DS that the new episodes - based on George RR Martin's novel A Storm of Swords - will see her character share more scenes with Tyrion (Peter Dinklage).
"He's just a really funny guy - he's just like Tyrion, to be honest, but doesn't drink as much!" she laughed.
Unlike many of her co-stars, Turner revealed that she has resisted reading Martin's novels to learn her character's fate.
"I do want to find out what happens in the very end - who doesn't?" she said. "But George isn't telling me, and [showrunners] David Benioff and Dan Weiss aren't telling me, so I've kind of given up now!"

Rose Leslie as Ygritte
Rose Leslie - who made her debut as Ygritte in season two - admitted that she has had "a lot of fun" playing her wild character, who has a "playful" relationship with Kit Harrington's Jon Snow.
"Not only is she strong and powerful, but her ruthlessness is also balanced with how playful she is - she enjoys teasing Jon Snow!" Leslie explained.
