The HBO medieval fantasy series spent much of its production of the first season in Northern Ireland, and its second outing will return to Belfast's Paint Hall studios and other local locations from July 25.
Hopefuls will be able to attend an open casting day in the city on July 4.
Game of Thrones producers are said to be looking for men with beards and long hair, blacksmiths, archers, farmhands, swordfighters and anyone with military or combat experience.
The series has helped improve Northern Ireland's film and creative industries, and has been approved by the First and Deputy First Ministers of the country.
Game of Thrones executives have previously said that they want more battle scenes and direwolves to feature in the second season.
