'Game of Thrones' casts pirate Salladhor Saan

The British star will portray the pirate Salladhor Saan on the second season of the HBO series, Entertainment Weekly reports.
Msamati has previously starred on the show No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency. He has also made guest appearances on the BBC television series Ashes to Ashes and Doctor Who, in which he played Guido in 'The Vampires of Venice'.
Earlier today, it was reported that Patrick Malahide had joined the HBO series as well, portraying the father of Theon Greyjoy.
Game of Thrones star Jason Momoa, who played Khal Drogo in the first season of the HBO series, revealed that he has written some scenes for the show.
Game of Thrones is expected to return with its new season in the spring.
