'Game of Thrones' releases new season three teaser

Games of Thrones has unveiled a new teaser for its upcoming third season.

No human character is featured in the short clip but a three-eyed raven is seen flying over cityscapes including contemporary buildings.



"Their world returns to ours," reads the tagline, while The National's 'The Rains of Castamere' plays throughout the teaser.

Game of Thrones story editor Bryan Cogman recently hinted what viewers can expect from season three.

We get more and more amazing cast members every year and we kill a few too to make room, and that tradition is going to continue in season three," he said.

Season three of Games of Thrones will premiere on March 31 on HBO.
