NBC has ordered up full seasons of The Office and My Name Is Earl.

"The strength of the ratings and performance and the quality of these two shows make this a very easy decision," said NBC entertainment president Kevin Reilly. "We are confident that these comedies will only continue to increase in popularity."

Ratings for the US version of The Office have increased since its move to a Thursday night timeslot, forming part of NBC's new comedy lineup. The new Thursday night lineup, of which Earl is also now a part, is receiving heavy on-air promotion.
