NBC will add previously unseen footage to upcoming repeats of The Office as the network prepares for a marathon of show re-runs on March 29.
The network will air "newpeats" of the previously seen episodes "Travelling Salesman" and "Oscar's Return" on March 15 and then give over most of primetime to a special "Night at The Office" evening of repeats on March 29. The primetime-long special will be hosted by Director of Human Resources Toby Flenderson, played by co-executive producer Paul Liberstein.
"It's about giving something extra to our wonderful fans," said executive producer Greg Daniels. "Their loyalty must be rewarded somehow, and we don't have the budget for ten million muffin baskets."
