The award-winning Prohibition Era drama returns on September 29 at 9pm. The show launches in the US on HBO on September 16.

Boardwalk Empire chronicles the life of Nucky Thompson (Steve Buscemi) in Atlantic City.Season three starts in 1923, 12 months after the events at the end of the second season. Al Capone (Stephen Graham) remains on the rise, Margaret (Kelly Macdonald) comes into her own and Gyp Rosetti (Bobby Cannavale) is a new enemy for Nucky.
Creator Terence Winter previously revealed that he wants Boardwalk Empire to last for six seasons.
"God willing we could run six years - that would be wonderful for me," said Winter. "But I take it one season at a time. It would be terrific."
Winter also revealed that season three will be even "more violent" than previous episodes.
Boardwalk Empire will return to HBO on Sunday, September 16 at 9/8c in the US.
