Former Lost star Nestor Carbonell has joined the cast of CBS drama pilot Ringer.

The 43-year-old Dark Knight actor will star alongside Sarah Michelle Gellar in the edgy thriller, which follows the story of a young woman (Gellar) who takes on the identity of her twin sister to evade the Mafia, only to find out that her sister's life is as fraught with danger as her own.

Carbonell will play an FBI agent who is attempting to keep Bridget safe so she can give evidence against the mob.

Ringer is being written by Eric Carmelo and Nicole Snyder and will air its pilot episode later this year.
