Kristoffer Polaha has reportedly landed a role in CBS's pilot Ringer.

The drama stars Sarah Michelle Gellar as Bridget, a young woman on the run who takes on the identity of her rich twin sister Siobhan.

According to TV Line, Polaha will play Henry, the husband of Siobhan's best friend. However, he is also having an affair with Siobhan.

Henry is unaware that Bridget has taken on Siobhan's identity and is confused when she fails to reciprocate his feelings, causing him to tell her to choose between him or Siobhan's husband Andrew.

Polaha recently starred in Life Unexpected, but the show's second season ended after 13 episodes and rumours have suggested that it will not be renewed. He has also appeared in shows including Mad Men, Miss Guided and North Shore.

The Ringer cast also features Nestor Carbonell, Ioan Gruffudd and Tara Summers.
