Trio of ABC comedies picked up

Modern Family, The Middle and Courteney Cox-fronted Cougar Town have each been picked up after successful debuts. The only ABC comedy not to receive a full order is Hank.
Cougar and Modern Family made decent premieres for the alphabet network late last month, drawing 11.44m and 12.74m respectively. The Middle, which arrived a week later, logged 8.6m.
