The actress, who recently signed up to star in ABC's pilot Partners, explained that she feels "joyful" when she watches the comedy.
Speaking to TV Guide, she explained: "[It's] very unique [with] well-drawn characters, played by very talented actors, and insightful writing."
Fisher added that she likes the female characters in Modern Family.
"Sofia [Vergara]'s character - she is passionate, strong, funny, speaks her mind," she said. "Same with [Julie Bowen's character]."
Modern Family airs on Wednesdays at 9/8c on ABC in the US and on Fridays at 8.30pm on Sky1 in the UK.
