Cranston won the 'Best Actor' prize for his role as Walter White in the AMC drama, and also shared the 'Best Movie Ensemble' prize with the cast of Argo.

"It is so good to be bad! I am so pleased and so honoured to receive this award," he began. "I'd love to thank our very courageous network AMC and all-supporting studio Sony Television, our writers, directors, our beautiful crew in New Mexico who work so hard.
"Also Vince Gilligan - he wrote the role of my career, and I am forever grateful, sir."

Going on to thank his wife Robin Dearden, daughter Taylor Dearden Cranston and Breaking Bad co-stars, he said: "I am so pleased that I am here with this stable of great actors.
"[To] all the actors who have graced our stage with their talent, thank you for making me a better actor, and a better man for knowing you... and [thanks] to my brothers and sisters in SAG who have endowed me with this wonderful award.
"So tonight, at least, I am well endowed. Thank you, and goodnight."
