Margulies previously starred as a rebellious lawyer in Fox's legal series Canterbury's Law, which ran for six episodes as a mid-season replacement on the network last year.
She is scheduled to reprise the role of Nurse Carol Hathaway in an upcoming episode of NBC medical drama ER.
