Cumming teases 'Good Wife' fireworks

Alan Cumming has revealed that there will be "fireworks" in the new season of The Good Wife.

In the first season finale, Alicia (Julianna Margulies) was torn between her husband Peter (Chris Noth) and a telephone call from her colleague Will (Josh Charles).

Cumming has now hinted that his character Eli will become involved in the situation.

"I do something at the start of the season that, if [Alicia] ever finds out, there will be trouble," he told TV Guide. "There are fireworks ahead."

The new season of The Good Wife begins on September 28 on CBS.
