WBTV, which produces the hit Charlie Sheen sitcom, accused CBS of failing to pay out certain fees when Men passed specific ratings and series milestones, says The Hollywood Reporter.
The two companies renegotiated a licence agreement to air the comedy for a fifth and sixth seasons several years ago, with CBS reportedly agreeing to pay an extra licence premium and reimburse production costs in 2003.
The complaint, filed at Los Angeles Superior Court, said: "CBS has reaped the benefits of the tremendous success of Two and a Half Men but wants to deny Warner Bros the right to its agreed-upon share."
A CBS spokesman claimed to be unaware of the complaint and declined to comment on the lawsuit.
