Charlie Sheen returns to 'Men' set

Charlie Sheen has reported back to the set of Two and a Half Men today after several weeks in rehab.

The stint came following reports that he had returned to alcohol addiction some time during December when he was arrested for allegedly assaulting wife Brooke Mueller.

Despite the setback, the series remains the highest-rated sitcom on TV with 14.9m viewers. CBS posted its highest numbers among males 18-49 in three years while Sheen was still being treated on March 8.

The programme already had three episodes finished before the Emmy winner voiced his respite plans. The next new episode is scheduled on March 22.

Yesterday, Sheen pleaded not guilty to charges over the alleged assault of Mueller.
