Sheen was dropped from his lead role as Charlie Harper earlier this year after making controversial remarks about the show's creator Chuck Lorre.
However, Sheen claimed on Boston radio station WBZ-FM that he has been in talks about working on the comedy again.
"There've been discussions, but I've been asked not to divulge anything," he said.
Sheen, who has filed a lawsuit against Two and a Half Men's producers, also claimed that he is not receiving his portion of the syndication profits.
He added that he had no idea that his behaviour was a problem for his bosses, saying: "Had they told me at the end of season eight that [my] behaviour wasn't going to be cool, I would have adjusted it."
Michael J Fox recently suggested that Sheen should be allowed to return to Two and a Half Men.
