Bachelor Pad's Vienna Girardi has said she has "good reason" to want former fiance Jake Pavelka off the show.

Girardi and Pavelka became engaged on the season finale of The Bachelor's 14th run last year but announced their split a few months later.

Both are now competing on the second season of Bachelor Pad alongside Girardi's boyfriend Kasey Kahl.

A preview clip aired on today's Good Morning America sees Pavelka telling his housemates that Girardi has been campaigning to get him off the show all week.

Girardi said: "The reason I really wanted Jake off the show is I'm in this house and my boyfriend is in this house so it's a very awkward situation. And not only that, but it's strategy. Jake is a good competitor. He won the first challenge. You have to look at it as a game also. There is good reason to have him off the show!"

Pavelka, who won a date with Jackie Gordon after the pair beat Girardi and Kahl in the first challenge, has frequently asserted that he only entered Bachelor Pad so he could speak with Girardi.

He told Cameron Mathison: "I am not here for $250,000. I came back because I knew Vienna would be here and it was an opportunity for me to get closure... No matter what happens on Bachelor Pad, in my heart I won and I have closure and that's why I was here."

Tonight's challenge on Bachelor Pad is called 'Target on my Back' and involves the remaining contestants having to answer questions such as 'who is least deserving of the $250,000?' and 'who are you least attracted to?' by throwing a paint ball at a target on the individual in question's back.

Viewers will also see three-on-one dates to a haunted hospital or a night on a private yacht.

Last week's season premiere saw Justin 'Rated R' Rego from Ali Fedotowsky's season of The Bachelorette and Alli Travis from Brad Womack's second run on The Bachelor become the first two contestants sent home at the rose ceremony.

Bachelor Pad airs Mondays at 8/7c on ABC
