5.01pm: We've just watched the pilot for Grimm. To be completely honest with you, it's weak. Badly written, stock full of cliches and obvious devices. The positive is that it's very camp and genuinely funny in places.
5.02pm: The moderator of this panel is Anthony Head, who brings out the writers and the cast. Bizarrely, exec producer Sean Hayes is in the audience rather than up on stage.
5.04pm: What other creatures will pop up? David Greenwalt: "You can expect all kinds of reatures. We'll be seeing wolves and pigs and all kinds of critters."
5.05pm: Episodic vs story arc? Greenwalt: "The answer is both. You're gonna have a self-contained episode each week, but there will also be arcs for the main characters. Terrible things are going to happen to a lot of them."
5.07pm: Greenwalt teases future monsters: Goldilocks "like you've never seen her before", three little wolves instead of three title pigs and "Cinderella will become Thinderella".
5.11pm: How do they decide which order to tell the stories? Greenwalt: "That's a good question. We pull it out of our ass! We try to find the crime first, and then turn it on its head."
5.13pm: Greenwalt gives a shoutout to Hayes and fellow exec producer Todd Milliner.
5.14pm: Question about whether Silas Weir Mitchell's character (a reformed werewolf) will join the good guys. Greenwalt: "The answer is yes! They're not gonna be very happy with what he's done."
5.15pm: How much will they push the envelope of gruesomeness, given that it airs on NBC? Greenwalt: "NBC's the finest network in the universe. We're gonna push it. They are gonna be dark and they will be tragic episodes."
5.16pm: That's a wrap on this panel and indeed, my portion of live coverage for you today. I'll hopefully be back tomorrow from 10am (6pm UK) to bring you coverage of the panels for Glee, Supernatural and.... DOCTOR WHO! See you then!
