The character is expected to recur on the hit ABC drama, with Pennie making his Revenge debut in early spring.
The 27-year-old actor's past credits include roles in the films In Time (2011), Fame (2009) and Prom Night (2008), as well as guest stints on CSI: Miami and NCIS: Los Angeles.
Revenge returns to ABC with new episodes on Sunday, February 10 at 9/8c. In the UK, the series continues on Mondays at 9pm on E4.
Torchwood's Burn Gorman and Nip/Tuck's Dylan Walsh have also recently been cast on the drama, while former Hollyoaks actor Barry Sloane has been promoted to series regular status.
