The Fox series was originally planned to return for a second season on October 26, but the new episodes will now air from January 2013.
The three-month delay is designed to give the returning show an uninterrupted run, according to USA Today.
A 2013 debut will also allow Fox to give Touch a bigger promotional lift than was originally intended for the show's fall return.
New episodes of Kitchen Nightmares will now air in the show's planned Friday night slot, paired with the final season of Fringe.
Maria Bello (ER), Lukas Haas (24), Said Taghmaoui (Lost) and Saxon Sharbino (I Spit on Your Grave) will all join Touch next season as series regulars.
